Razdan went on to say that, “It was truly a pleasure to work with such a talented cast of actors, including Sonarika Bhadoria, Ashish Sharma, Ankit Raaj, Anup Jalota and Dipika Chikhlia. They all did an amazing job.”The film was mostly shot on location in Uttarakhand.

Hindutva 2022 Movie Story: Hindutva is a story of today’s youth that explores the depths of Hinduism through its principal characters. It is a story of friendship, love and student politics.

• Bharat Shastri – Aashiesh Sharma represents a typical Hindu boy of central/northern India, who knows his shlokas and vedas. He studies in Uttarakhand’s famous University and is a proud Hindu.
• Sapna Gupta-Sonarika Bhadoria is a woman who grew up in Britain but recently moved to India. She was raised in the western world and as a result, her leanings are towards more leftist ideology. Sapna finds Bharat to be communal and radical compared to what she’s used to.
• Sameer Siddique- Ankit Raaj is a well-known student leader who feels that his community suffers from discrimination. He presents himself as a leftist and fights for the protection of his community. Sameer is in love with Sapna and she loves him too – for his charisma and leadership at the university. It’s unclear if Sameer dreams of converting Sapna to Islam and marrying her, but it’s something that we don’t know at this time.
• Enter Bhalerao – Govind Namdeo. He pushes Bharat to contest the University elections and fight against Sameer Siddique.

The ironic part is that Bharat and Sameer have been childhood friends, but they are now divided by their individual ideologies.
